As Project Executive, Sam Hodge ensures that our jobs are expertly managed. Sam has put into place nearly $4 billion worth of construction throughout his career. His projects include commercial, retail, multi-family, mixed use, casinos and hospitality/restaurants. Sam’s “take charge” attitude is displayed daily in his project management, budgeting, subcontractor negotiations, scheduling, and quality control. Sam encourages the use of technology to enhance communication and efficiency and is a power user in Procore, our construction project management technology platform. His leadership extends to mentoring individuals interested in the construction profession. Sam is proud to have served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Berky joins the CURA Group with a strong administrative background and a wide range of office experience.  Strong expertise with our financial software and methods, along with her excellent leadership and communication skills make her an invaluable part of the team.  Her keen eye for detail and exceptional analytical thinking is a tremendous asset as she serves as the nerve center to most of our internal operations.

Meet Ashley Kauffman, a dynamic and ambitious architecture student with a profound interest in construction and a knack for leveraging technology to drive innovation. Currently pursuing a master's degree in architecture from FIU, Ashley is deeply driven by a passion for learning and a love for innovative design. Taking on the role of Project Coordinator at Cura Group FL in early 2024, Ashley brings a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and enthusiasm to the table. With a commitment to excellence and a forward-thinking approach, Ashley is poised to aid the team towards greater efficiency and success in the ever-evolving field of architecture/design and construction

Elsie Ortiz joins CURA as Project Manager with experience in real estate, project management and property management. Elsie is a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate professional who is committed to excellence. Her enduring professional background is a testament to a lifelong learner who holds both a BS in Construction Management and an MBA in Project Management as well as a Florida Real Estate License and a Notary License. Outside of work, Elsie is a pillar of her community, serving in different capacities in her local church. She finds joy in pursuing her creative passions whether behind the camera or with a paintbrush in hand. She is always ready to take on new challenges and bring a fresh perspective to every project. Elsie's positive attitude, strong work ethic, and diverse skills make her an asset to our team.

As a recent graduate from Miami Dade College with a dual degree in Art/ Art Education and Sculpture, Andrea brings a diverse range of experiences to our firm. In her role as Project Coordinator / Tech Services Coordinator, Andrea assists all Project Managers in further streamlining our process. Andrea is very professional and engaging and displays a very positive attitude with clients and coworkers alike. Being new to the construction industry, Andrea will be earning her Construction Management Certificate in 2025, continuing her path toward becoming a leading Project Manager within our industry.  She is also a strong patron of the Arts and is exceptionally talented within her own right as a graphic artist. With such a background and her focus in the construction management industry, we are anticipating great success as Andrea masterfully blends these two disciplines together.
