By collaborating in the preconstruction process, Cura can discuss with design consultants to create documents that will allow a seamless transition to the job site, resulting in a lower number of change orders, requests for information, and delays in schedule. Throughout the constructability assessment, Cura develops a construction schedule that balances the client’s goals, long lead items, feasible construction times, and any necessary phasing. 

This phase of the process determines the core members of the project.  The main output of this phase will be:

• Interviewing and vetting assistance to select the Design Team, Specialty Consultants & Contractors

• Developing scope parameters

• Budget projections

• Projects details  (replace with…Review of all Design & Engineering Drawings & Details, as released, for Constructability

• Establishing communication protocol

• Discovering essential materials (Review & Inventory of As-Builts & original Permit Set of Drawings within the Clients possession)

In each step, there are several methods and techniques, which facilitate handling the risks; i.e. Drone thermal imaging, Procore software and other cutting edge tools.  We strive to identify risks in the early stages of the project during planning to better help our clients manage their financial resources. 

The key to creating a successful competitive bidding environment is reducing risk for our trade partners and matching up qualified subcontractors with the correct project. Throughout our team’s long experience in the construction industry, we’ve developed relationships with subcontractors throughout South Florida. We will leverage these relationships to ensure you receive multiple qualified bids with the result of creating a subcontractor team experienced with the complex work required in campus-wide construction that meets your budget.

At Cura, we don't believe in just identifying problems, we believe it is our responsibility to bring potential solutions to the project team to foster collaborative discussion to remedy the issues in the most cost-effective manner. We ensure that the quality and effort of the work meets the requirements that were designed. We will cooperate with the architects and engineers to review submittals to assure compliance and Cura’s construction manager will verify the submittal is accurate and installation is according to specifications. We follow this up with on-site inspections of all phases of construction.
